ProMedica Hospice is proud to announce our “Sock Drive for Veterans” initiative, dedicated to providing warmth and comfort to our local heroes who have served our nation. We understand that a small gesture can go a long way in expressing our gratitude, and we invite our community to join us in this endeavor.
Why socks, You may wonder? For homeless veterans or those struggling financially, a clean pair of socks can provide relief, protection and a touch of dignity. Socks keep feet warm and dry, reducing the risk of foot-related health issues. They offer comfort and a sense of normalcy during challenging times.
How To Participate?
To participate, simply drop off new socks at our collection points, located at ProMedica Hospice centers or designated local businesses. We welcome donations of all sizes and styles, as the needs of our veterans vary. Whether it’s crew socks, ankle socks, or thermal socks, every contribution will make a difference.
We encourage individuals, schools, families and organizations to get involved in this community wide effort. Together we can make a significant impact and show our veterans that their service is not forgotten. Let’s ensure that, this winter, no veteran has to go without warm, clean socks.
Join us in this noble cause to support our veterans. Your generous contributions will be a symbol of respect, gratitude, and love for those who have served our country with honor. Together, we can make a positive change in the lives of our local veterans.
