We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The

ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.
Assist patients in feeling comfortable and at ease during their appointments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures.

2. Clinical Support:

Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures.
Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment.
Assist with dental X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.

3. Administrative Tasks:

Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by office management.

4. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with dental hygienists, dentists, and other dental professionals to
deliver comprehensive patient care.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and
patient satisfaction.

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional
development.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program
Preferred.

Certification in dental assisting (e.g., Certified Dental Assistant, Registered
Dental Assistant) is desirable.

X-ray certification/license required in some jurisdictions.
Proven experience as a dental assistant is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and
communicate effectively.

Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
Proficient in dental software
Knowledge of infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient
safety and comfort.
